GENERAL INFORMATION ON CLASSES:
SWIM: Through our association with Kari Gregory of COREmuiltipsort we offer coached group swim sessions at Mount Royal Pool on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. These classes are designed for athletes working on improving their freestyle skills and swim fitness.
If you are looking for some one on one coaching, you can book private coaching sessions with us. Simply email Jill or Chris to set up a lesson. Cost is $100 / hour which includes pool access, coaching from the deck, above water video, video review & feedback
In the summer months, open water swim clinics are offered at Quarry Lake in Canmore.
BIKE: We offer a number of online bike classes during the fall and winter months using the Zoom platform. In the spring and summer there are opportunities for evening group rides from the Bearspaw area in the NW and from the SW near Westhills or Springbank. Locations and departure times are listed on our Triathlete Within Facebook page.
RUN SPEED SESSIONS: Track interval training is offered through our association with COREmultisport during the Winter months at Mount Royal University track on Tuesday evenings. The run workout can be followed by the swim session at 8pm. Kari also offers outdoor sessions in the spring.
ATA MEMBERSHIP: All athletes are required to have a current ATA membership to participate in all run and swim classes. This is for insurance purposes and supports our growing sport. We encourage you to sign up as Triathlete Within club members (on the drop down menu) when signing up for the ATA membership at www.triathlon.ab.ca.
FACEBOOK: Facebook is the main way we communicate with the Triathlete Within group. Check Facebook for updates on programs, schedule changes and general information. Simply send a friend request to Jill Kirker on Facebook.
