Run & Strength Program - Winter 2018:

Triathlete Within can provide you with a personalized training program to reach your current goals whether it be a Boston Qualifying marathon time, a safe progressive run program to recover from an injury, or finding the fluid running efficiency that you dream of.  

The beauty of running on a track is that you eliminate all external factors.  It's just you, your runners and your watch. These workouts at the track at Mount Royal University will include a comprehensive warm up, some technical drills and speed intervals. The 60 minute run workout is followed by 30 minutes of specific strength work lead by Personal Trainer Kari Gregory.  Participants should have a solid base of running with at least 3 months of consistent running with about 15km / weekly.

RUN AND STRENGTH:
Run session will be from 7:00pm - 8:15 with strength and conditioning with Coach Kari from 8:15 - 8:45pm.  Registrants are required to have a strong base of running including some tempo and speed work before joining this session.  This is a tremendous program if you want to become faster or simply more efficient in your running.  You will benefit from specific speed work on the track, strength work and some video analysis of your running form.
Venue: MRU Track and U155 
Dates: Monday, January 8 to March 26 inclusive (no session on Feb 19 as it is Family Day)
Time: 7:00 to 8:45pm
Fees: $250 (incl GST) for the 11 weeks. 

Drop Ins are Welcome. Note that convenient Punch Card Plus for these longer workouts will be available - 10 sessions for $250.

ATA Membership:

All athletes are required to have a current Alberta Triathlon Association membership.  This is for insurance purposes, but also allows you to race in any ATA sanctioned race in the province  (www.triathlon.ab.ca).
