GENERAL INFORMATION ON PROGRAMS:
SWIM: We offer coached group swim sessions at Mount Royal Pool, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, over the noon hour and every second Friday evening. These classes are designed for athletes working on improving their freestyle skills and swim fitness.
If you are looking for some one on one coaching, you can book private swim lessons with us at Mount Royal University pool. Simply email Jill or Chris to set up a lesson. Cost is $60 / hour.
In the summer months, open water swim clinics are offered at Arbour Lake in Calgary and Quarry Lake in Canmore.
BIKE: We offer indoor bike classes during the fall and winter months at the Tri-it store. 2640 Parkdale Blvd. In the spring we lead group rides in the evenings from the Bearspaw area in the NW and from the SW near Westhills. Locations and departure times are listed on our Triathlete Within Facebook page.
RUN: Track interval training is offered during the Winter months at Mount Royal University track. Distance running programs can be developed for you to complete on your own with guidance on time, distance and pace.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING: XC skiing is great cross training and we live in an area that offers a wide variety of fabulous skiing opportunities. Both Chris and Jill are CANSI certified instructors and have enjoyed skiing for years. We ski as a group most Saturdays.
ATA MEMBERSHIP: All athletes are required to have a current ATA membership to participate in all coached classes. This is for insurance purposes and supports our growing sport. We encourage you to sign up as Triathlete Within club members (on the drop down menu) when signing up for the ATA membership at www.triathlon.ab.ca.
